There is a war for the story of what it means to be a man.
There are a lot of ways to respond to the assault in our stories.
But Jesus provides a vision for life.

He provides a path…

Thus says the Lord: Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way lies; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.
–Jeremiah 6:16

The Men’s Retreat is the fruit of the Holy Spirit’s work among men in the Archdiocese of Vancouver. What began as a small gathering of men seeking to grow in Christ has become a source of renewal, fellowship, and encouragement for many.

Built on years of faithful leadership and partnership with Jake Khym and Life Restoration, the retreat continues to offer men an opportunity to encounter Christ, ignite hearts, and be strengthened for their mission as men.

+ What volunteer options are there for The Men's Retreat?

Volunteers make The Men's Retreat possible. We’re currently looking for female volunteers (ages 19+) to join us for the weekend, especially in meal service and dishwashing. These are hands-on roles that can be physically demanding, but they’re a vital part of the retreat experience. If you know women who would be interested and able to volunteer for this year's Retreat, please have them contact Melanie at mkeras@rcav.org for more information about the roles needed and how to volunteer.
